In a recent communication, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, engaged in a phone conversation with Sultan al-Arada, the Governor of Marib. The discussion focused on the current situation in Marib Governorate, particularly following an assassination attempt on Adel al-Rouhani, the head of the Technical Department of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform (Islah).
During the call, President al-Alimi inquired about al-Rouhani’s health and received updates regarding the attack, which resulted in the deaths of several of his escorts. The President was provided with an initial report detailing the circumstances surrounding the incident and the identities of the suspected assailants.
