The Republic of Yemen has issued a strong condemnation of recent Iranian attacks that have targeted the territories and sovereignty of several neighboring states. In an official statement, the Yemeni government characterized these actions as blatant violations of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.

Yemen expressed its unwavering solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, reaffirming its support for any measures these nations take to protect their security and stability. The Yemeni government emphasized that the security of these countries is intrinsically linked to its own, warning that any infringement upon their sovereignty poses a direct threat to the broader Arab system and regional stability.

The Yemeni authorities held the Iranian regime accountable for any escalation that jeopardizes regional security, accusing it of pursuing confrontational policies through its proxies. They highlighted the potential risks posed by such actions, including threats to international maritime corridors and global energy supplies, which could lead to wider conflicts that serve only to foster chaos and terrorism.

Additionally, the Yemeni government cautioned the Houthi militias against engaging in military actions that align with Iranian interests or using Yemeni territory to target neighboring nations or international entities. Such actions, they warned, would be viewed as hostility towards Yemen itself and a direct threat to its national security.

Yemen called on the international community to take a firm stance against repeated Iranian violations of sovereignty and to work towards deterring actions that destabilize the region. The statement concluded by underscoring that regional security is a collective responsibility, achievable only through respect for state sovereignty, the cessation of support for armed militias, and adherence to international law.
