The Jordanian Armed Forces reported on Friday that the Kingdom was targeted by three missiles launched from Iran within a 24-hour period. The Royal Jordanian Air Force successfully intercepted and destroyed two of these missiles. However, the third missile fell in eastern Jordan after defense systems were unable to neutralize it.

In response to the incident, the Public Security Directorate’s spokesperson indicated that specialized units had addressed four reports concerning falling debris and projectiles. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, although some material damage occurred as a result of the missile strike.

Authorities have issued warnings to the public regarding the dangers of gathering near or tampering with any suspicious objects or missile fragments. The spokesperson emphasized the importance of following official safety instructions to ensure public safety.

Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious items to security authorities by calling the emergency number 911. The public is also advised to rely on official sources for accurate information and to avoid spreading rumors or misleading news regarding the incident.
