Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior reported that an Iranian attack occurred early Friday, targeting a hotel and two residential buildings in the capital, Manama. Fortunately, the incident resulted in material damage only, with no casualties reported. The attack prompted a swift response from civil defense teams, who successfully controlled a fire that erupted in one of the affected apartments.

In the wake of the attack, the Ministry of Interior activated warning sirens throughout the city. Citizens and residents were urged to remain calm, seek safe locations, and adhere to official instructions. This proactive measure aimed to ensure public safety amid the ongoing tensions.

Bahrain’s Defense Force Command provided further details, stating that their air defense systems have been actively intercepting multiple waves of Iranian attacks. Since the onset of these strikes, the command reported the destruction of 78 missiles and 129 drones targeting the kingdom.

The Defense Force Command condemned the attacks, emphasizing that targeting civilian sites and private property with ballistic missiles and drones represents a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. The situation remains tense as Bahrain continues to bolster its defenses against further aggression.
