Local Administration Minister Emphasizes Vital Coordination with Taiz Authority

In a recent meeting held in Aden, Minister of Local Administration Eng. Badr Basalma highlighted the critical need for enhanced coordination between the ministry and the local authority in Taiz governorate. The minister underscored that such collaboration is essential for fostering an institutional environment conducive to administrative stability and promoting local development initiatives.

During the discussions with Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan, Basalma addressed various administrative and developmental challenges currently confronting the local authority in the governorate. The meeting aimed to identify effective strategies to tackle these issues and improve governance at the local level.

The session was attended by Deputy Minister of Local Administration Moeen Mahmoud, who contributed to the dialogue on the government’s strategic direction. The officials reviewed the government’s commitment to strengthening administrative and financial decentralization, which is intended to empower local administrative units to operate effectively within the framework of the Local Authority Law.
