The UAE floating hospital, situated in Al-Arish, Egypt, continues its vital role in providing medical assistance to patients from the Gaza Strip as part of the “Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian initiative. This facility has been instrumental in delivering essential healthcare services amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.
Since its inception, the floating hospital has offered over 13,000 medical services, including more than 5,600 surgeries and 7,500 physiotherapy sessions. These efforts highlight the UAE’s commitment to enhancing the healthcare infrastructure in Gaza and addressing the urgent medical needs of the Palestinian population.
The recent reopening of the Rafah crossing has allowed the hospital to treat 41 new cases, along with their companions, ensuring that patients receive care in accordance with high medical standards.
