In a recent meeting, Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, underscored the critical role of enhancing agricultural production to achieve self-sufficiency in the region. Al-Subaihi met with Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, Salem al-Soqtari, to discuss strategies for improving agricultural investment. He called for relevant authorities to streamline administrative processes and create an encouraging environment for investors interested in sustainable agricultural projects. The member of the Presidential Leadership Council reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting agricultural development initiatives.
During the meeting, al-Subaihi commended the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries for its efforts toward sustainable development and enhancing self-sufficiency.
